An assistant for the calls that pile up

The calls you dread, handled.

Maya phones pharmacies, doctors' offices and insurers on your behalf. She waits through the hold music, works her way past the phone menus, and tells you plainly what happened.

You keep a prepaid balance, calls draw against it, and you can see what each one cost. Pricing.

Built for the people doing the caring

If you are coordinating care for a parent, or managing your own alongside everything else, the load is rarely one big thing. It is the refill that needs chasing, the appointment that needs moving, the insurer who needs asking.

Each one costs you twenty minutes and a little more patience than you have left. Maya carries those.

Typical requests

  • Ask the pharmacy whether a refill is ready, and chase the prescriber if it is not.
  • Book, move or confirm an appointment.
  • Ask an insurer what is covered, or why something was denied, and write down the answer.
  • Request a copy of a result or a form, then follow up when it does not arrive.

How she works

Four steps, and you are told what is happening at each one.

  1. You ask

By phone, in the app, or on the web. Plain sentences are fine. She asks a question back if something is missing.

  2. She reads back what she will share

The exact list of details, and who she is about to give them to. Nothing leaves that list. If you are not happy with an item, you take it off.

  3. She makes the call

She identifies herself as your assistant, holds the line, and works through whatever the phone system puts in front of her.

  4. She reports back honestly

What was agreed, what was refused, what is still open. If it did not work, she says so and tells you why.

Honest about what she is

Maya is an AI assistant, and she says so on every call she makes.

What she always does

  • Identifies herself as an assistant calling on your behalf.
  • Confirms the exact details she will share, before she shares them.
  • Tells you when a call failed, and what she tried.
  • Stops and hands back to you if an organisation asks to speak with you personally.

What she never does

  • Claim to be you. Not once, not to get past a gatekeeper.
  • Share anything you did not approve for that call.
  • Give medical advice, or tell you what treatment to have.
  • Pretend something worked when it did not.

What we keep, and what we do not

We keep as little as we can. What we keep is encrypted with a key unique to you. Much of what a call produces is discarded automatically rather than retained. We do not sell anything to anyone, ever.

Read the privacy policy

One thing you should know up front

During this beta, Steadyline does not operate under a HIPAA business associate agreement. That is worth saying here rather than burying it, so you can decide what you are comfortable sharing. The full explanation is in the privacy policy.

Emergencies

If this is a medical emergency, call 911. Maya cannot help in an emergency and will tell you so.

Hand over the next one.

Set up takes a few minutes: your phone number, a payment method, and a PIN.
